Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 February 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GreetingKards website and services. By accessing or using GreetingKards, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About GreetingKards

GreetingKards is a digital greeting card service that allows users to purchase, customise, and send digital greeting cards. Cards may be signed by multiple contributors and delivered electronically.

GreetingKards is operated from the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on GreetingKards. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts and guest use

  • You may use GreetingKards as a registered user or as a guest.
  • Guest users may contribute to cards using secure links and cookies.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.

4. Orders and digital products

All products sold on GreetingKards are digital greeting cards. No physical items are shipped.

When you place an order:

  • An order is created and linked to one or more digital cards.
  • Unique access links are generated for card editing, management, and viewing.
  • Cards are made available immediately after successful payment (or free checkout).

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers (such as Adyen). GreetingKards does not store payment card details.

Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and include any taxes where required. Promotional vouchers or discounts may be applied subject to their terms.

6. Vouchers and discounts

  • Vouchers may be subject to usage limits, expiry dates, or restrictions.
  • Only one voucher may be applied per order unless stated otherwise.
  • Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

GreetingKards reserves the right to cancel or refuse vouchers where misuse or abuse is detected.

7. Right to cancel and refunds

By placing an order, you acknowledge that GreetingKards provides digital content that is supplied immediately after purchase.

Under UK consumer law, you therefore agree that your right to cancel may be waived once the digital content has been made available.

Refunds may still be issued at our discretion in cases of technical error, duplicate payment, or service failure.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for more details.

8. User-generated content

GreetingKards allows users and invited contributors to add messages, names, images, and GIFs to cards (“User Content”).

You are solely responsible for any User Content you add or invite others to add.

You agree not to upload or share content that is:

  • Illegal, defamatory, or abusive
  • Hateful, discriminatory, or offensive
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights
  • Misleading or fraudulent

GreetingKards reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Card delivery and availability

Digital cards are delivered via secure links and/or email notifications. Delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, such as email provider filtering or recipient device compatibility.

While we aim to provide a reliable service, GreetingKards does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Intellectual property

All website content, card designs, branding, and software are the property of GreetingKards or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without permission, except for personal use of purchased cards.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GreetingKards shall not be liable for:

  • Losses resulting from user-generated content
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Delays or failures beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to GreetingKards where these Terms are breached or where required by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of GreetingKards after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
